Enamoured with religion, all religions, Marie Docher chose the neutral setting of a studio to put the spotlight on rites and prayers, and to focus on Man. Moslems, Hindus, Jews devote themselves to their worship, using genuine gestures, repeated thousands of times. Hands, faces, and corporal attitudes describe their self-abandonment, in an effort to reach out to the sacred, to attain peace. It is a time for spirituality. Marie Docher shows us, initiates us, shares with us what we never see, and guides us towards the greatest respect for others, whoever they may be.
