Philippe Ughetto appears to have the cult of objects, unless he takes pleasure in seeking out beauty where practicality and functionality impose their laws. Intimately involved in our everyday lives, Philippe's objects are, however, never made banal, because he gives them a real personality and surrounds them with a palette of strong, gay colours. His modern, blurred treatment lends them a pure beauty which nothing can perturb, and the road is open to let them live as many lives as they can recount.
