All the faces of age. The conventional and wrinkled features of faces uncrease before surrendering. Isabelle Rozenbaum makes an incursion into the profound depths of age. Dissecting the appearance of her models at the height of her vision, and then resorting to amusing antics to provoke exaggerations and reluctant reactions, the figurative explorer invites her characters to retrieve a temperament that has resisted the test of time. Their condescending or rebellious expressions, feigning austerity, seems to win the day. But the power of their domination -- which only lasts for a short while -- soon disintegrates into winks, bursts of laughter and knowing glances. Complicity is ageless.
